Soller Botanical Gardens

The gardens are on the outskirts of the town of Soller and were opened in the eighties as a centre for the conservation and research of Mediterranean flora. Some of the plants on show are endemic to the Balearic Islands. We have always visited in August when the water lillies are at their best. It’s usually pretty quiet and has a lot of shady spots to escape the heat.
